There are days, weeks, months, years for questions. There are days, weeks, months, years for answers (inspired by Zora Neale Hurston).
Since the 1990s, I practiced physical poses on a mat without really understanding what I was doing. Yet I sensed it was part of something much bigger than myself. Much later, in divine timing in 2020 in Finland, I was brought to Leta LaVigne, a student of yin co-developer Paul Grilley. What I learned from my 250 hour Yoga Alliance registered foundational training was abundant. In brief: Be uniquely you for the world needs what you offer. Function overrides aesthetics. Yoga is never a comparative staging of athleticism.

An eternal student of yoga, I continue to learn with globally recognized Master Teacher and co-founder of Purna Yoga, Aadil Palkhivala, pupil of the late B.K.S. Iyengar. I was fortunate to be introduced to Aadil by Nicola Moberg of Purna Yoga Helsinki, Finland in 2020. She continues to be an inspirational mentor, integral to my growth as a yoga facilitator.

Learning from Aadil's wisdom, I am able to listen to all that arises, on and off the mat, to move through life with more awareness and boundaries in collaboration with discernment. Through Aadil's teachings, I understand real change is possible when we do our own continuous inner work. Only then, can we be of service and show compassion to others, expecting nothing in return.

I look forward to meeting you and sharing how yoga can be a powerful tool to lift us to our higher selves in our healing process.
